August 08, 2001 - Check the TPI->Carb page. Pics and notes are up!
July 30, 2001 - I put up some IMPORTANT NOTES on the tpi to carb swap. Its not the full document, but its the good stuff anyone should know.
July 28/29, 2001 - Well, the carb is still not tuned up all the way. Also, stock heads and exhaust manifold + 750 holley = bad. Difficult to tune! Or to get to run well, anyway. The engine only moves a decent amount of air at WOT and high rpms, but then the engine is overcarbed down low. Reccomendation: go with exhaust first, or get a swap meet 600 carb, and to a quickie rebuild on it. You'll get more enjoyment out of the car during the pre-completion part of it (which lasts forever for almost any car)... I do have a scanner, so I'll hopefully be able to put together a more useful site in the neer future. However, recent pc problems have produced the following: Due to an incident involving Morpheus and my inferior siblings, a large number of executables were deleted off of my hard drive, including programs and uninstallers. My printer did not work, so I attempted to reinstall the drivers. The installer complained that a version was on the system, and that it needed to be removed. I go to the uninstaller, and it was one of the deleted programs. Kinda like the "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" question...
